Landes nature
The Landes region is full of magnificent natural sites to discover. In the immediate vicinity of Camping Les Jardins de l’Adour, take a stroll through the Barthes, typical wetlands rich in biodiversity. They offer peaceful landscapes where you can observe numerous species of birds, including the majestic storks that sometimes nest in the area. Take advantage of the tranquility of these places to recharge your batteries and admire the local fauna in an unspoilt natural setting.
Just 3 km from the campsite, theEtang de la Glacière is ideal for a stroll along the water’s edge. This charming little pond is perfect for a relaxing break or picnic in the middle of nature, in a calm and soothing setting.
About 10 km away, you can explore the Landes forests, especially around Gourbera. Le Moulin de Pouymartet invites you to enjoy a pleasant hike in verdant surroundings, with numerous signposted trails to explore the region’s natural wealth.
For lovers of flora and fauna, the Estanque peat bogs in Mées, 17 km from the campsite, are a unique ecosystem where rare plants flourish and various animal species live. A perfect walk for those curious about nature.
A little further afield, the Marais d’Orx National Nature Reserve in Labenne (about 30 km away) is a veritable ecological gem. Here, you can observe many species of migratory birds and enjoy the magnificent scenery while hiking.
Finally, for a more exotic outing, head to Lac d’Arjuzanx, a former mining site rehabilitated as a large natural lake. This area offers water sports activities and hiking trails in a breathtaking setting. Ideal for a day out with family or friends.

Landes beaches
The beaches of the Landes region offer unique landscapes and an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The beaches of Seignosse and Hossegor, 30 minutes from Dax, are renowned for their waves, ideal for surfing enthusiasts, while also offering vast stretches of golden sand for family lounging.
Not far away, Capbreton, with its port and beach, also offers popular surfing spots and beautiful seaside walks.
